THR has posted interesting article about the difficulty of handling security for Comic-Con. Apparently, they're expecting costumed attendees to show up with around 3,000 "weapons", each one of which needs to be carefully inspected. I'm a little jealous, frankly—handling weapons-check for Comic-Con is the kind of job that I could dine out on for the rest of my life. (I know a lot of nerds.)
