Scholastic strikes again

Scholastic is working on another "multi-platform action adventure property", according to Publishers Weekly. Like The 39 Clues, Spirit Animals and The Infinity Ring, the TombQuest series will combine a series of middle-grade books with an interactive online game, but this will be the first series written by a single author: Michael Northrop. TombQuest debuts in February 2015 with Book of the Dead. Based solely on its cover art, I wonder if Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles sold more copies than I had previously realized.
