Content, content everywhere

There's an article at the Guardian about two very different, currently-airing Jane Austen adaptations, both based on unfinished works. There's a relatively bland description of ITV's Sanditon, and a more in-depth discussion of Laura Wade’s version of The Watsons, which was abandoned by Austen in 1805. (Apparently, the playwright becomes a major character? I didn't realize there was a professional market for self-insertion fanfic, but it seems I was wrong.)
