The Atlantic recently posted a lengthy article about writing consent in romance novels, basing it around an interview with Jasmine Guillory. The article gives a short but comprehensive overview of the changing attitudes towards sex and consent in romance writing over the past 30 years, and left me with a strong desire to read Guillory's new book.
