Sure, why not?

I treasure this level of geekdom: there is apparently an elaborate fan theory that the 2013 sci-fi action film Snowpiercer is a direct sequel to Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (the 1971 Gene Wilder movie, not the book or the more recent film adaptation starring Johnny Depp). I think this is, er, a bit of a stretch, but I am always home for delightfully far-fetched fan theories, and this definitely qualifies.
