Mental Floss recently posted some comparison images of the changes Richard Scarry’s 1963 picture book Best Word Book Ever underwent between its initial publication and its final edition in 1991. It's a fascinating look at changes in social attitudes over a 30-year period, and a tribute Scarry's ability to accept and respond to criticism.
