(Because Heathers came out in 1989, people. It's been quite some time.)
According to Flavorwire, actress Krysten Ritter has made her first sale as a producer: MTV has purchased her adaptation of Eric Garcia's 2004 novel Cassandra French’s Finishing School For Boys. In addition to calling the book an "updated Heathers", they describe it as "chick-lit satire", which means nothing to me. (The literary equivalent of an episode of Absolutely Fabulous, but with more dudes in it?)
