A month ago, cartoonist Rich Burlew set up a Kickstarter account in order to raise $57,500, the amount needed to reprint one of the out-of-print collections of his Order of the Stick webcomic. He reached his initial goal in a mere 48 hours, but the final total pledged was $1,254,120, making this the largest book project in Kickstarter's history and the third project to raise more than $1 million from the site. Anyway, congratulations, Mr. Burlew. I clearly need to read your comic, because those are some seriously devoted fans.
