Practice your patience. Most of the manga series being released in the United States are being released at the rate of a few volumes per year, even for series that have already finished in Japan. If you’re starting on a series like Hana Yori Dango, which should be fully translated by, oh, 2015 or so, you might be better off looking for scanlated versions of the later chapters. (Hell, with that amount of time you could probably just learn Japanese….)
